• Scheduled End: June 5, 2025 at 4:00 AM ET
• Location/Scope: NYC1 Data Center
• Expected Impact: Brief service interruption for some virtual machines with private interfaces

Purpose of Maintenance

This maintenance is intended to enhance network isolation and integrity by migrating private interfaces of affected virtual machines (VMs) in our New York environment to a dedicated private network segment. This change will resolve an issue where public and private network interfaces currently share a common bridge, which has led to unintended broadcast traffic on private networks.

Customer Impact

During the maintenance window, affected customers may experience:

• Brief loss of connectivity to private interfaces
• Intermittent latency or degraded internal network performance
• Temporary unavailability of communication between managed firewalls and VMs if they are not yet on the new private bridge

Please note: Customers already utilizing private VLANs will not be impacted by this change.
Our engineering team will take all necessary precautions to minimize downtime and complete the work within the scheduled timeframe.
