Purpose for Maintenance:
One of our upstream providers in our Ashburn, VA datacenter has opened a maintenance window to modify configuration. During this time, their BGP sessions will be temporarily shut down to complete configuration changes and then re-enabled. All traffic will be diverted to a redundant provider from their circuit prior to the start of maintenance.
What this means to you:
Though no impact is expected there may be a brief period of packet-loss and higher latency during routing convergence.
